Perspectives differ.......
Some insight occurred after long pondering of the saying - "Walk a mile in my shoes (moccasins, bare feet, toe shoes, Nike, Feragamo, etc.)" - the difference between knowing a saying and understanding. It is my belief that that most people can be understood and most actions can be appreciated if there exists the ability to view the world from that individual's perspective.

The divide between the have and have nots, the religions, the races, the nationalities and the genders is lessened by some understanding of the opposing perspective(s). Morality, ethics and religious beliefs distilled mandate that we at least make the honest effort to treat others as we would have them treat us. And while perspectives differ, some degree of respect towards opposing viewpoints is simply the right thing to do.

I do believe that within everyone there is some degree of good; however, it sometimes takes a bit more effort and patience to find that good. Nevertheless, in the long term - it is worth the effort.

Many thanks to my family and friends for sharing their perspectives with me. Thanks to my beautiful wife who found some degree of goodness buried deep within me and is in the process of cultivation.
